Someone over at Richard Childress Racing is working the whole Let's get our guys on TV thing hard. Really, really hard. And while Clint Bowyer did an admirable job portraying himself in this week's episode of The Biggest Loser, he came across a little stiff -- word is, even his mother thinks that teammate Jeff Burton plays himself way better.

But, points to Bowyer's PR peeps who put him out there in both a sponsor-emblazoned firesuit and Corvette. Maybe Burton would have been recognized if he'd been wearing his suit in that bar on General Hospital.

Still, there's something else that kind of bothers me: apparently, this Tara, who won the challenge on the show by pulling a car at Auto Club Speedway, was awarded immunity and will be a guest at this October's Sprint Cup race at the track ... immunity, that makes sense. You win something, you get something good; but being forced to attend a 500-mile race at Auto Club Speedway? That's her reward?
