Thank you for a great article! This is a race that I will never forget. I had met Kulwicki a couple of times, before and after his championship. He was the most kind, humble man I ever met. Even after his championship, he still couldn't believe all the people that would line up for his autograph and want their picture taken with him. Sadly, the last time I saw him was at the March Richmond race just before his tragic death. I now imagine he's still racing his "underbird" on the great racetrack in the sky.
