I don't have any problem with Cup drivers racing in Nationwide races if that's what puts rear ends in the seats and funds the circuit through sponsorships. Teams need money to win, and the sponsors like the high profile guys in the cars. I get that.
But if you want Nationwide to continue to be the feeder system that it was for years, new talent needs to be recognized and groomed.
My solution: at the beginning of the week (say Friday at noon), a driver has to declare which series he wants his points to count in. Kyle Busch can race three times in a weekend and collect three purses, but he only gets points for one. That way, the person who wins the Nationwide series will be a true Nationwide series driver, not Kyle/Carl/Brad beating up on the B and C teams.
