I think this is a really good proposal Patrick. Best I've heard so far. For the comments above, you are wrong, the NW series DOES need fixed. That includes not needing multi million dollar sponsorships to run the series. It's the cup guys that have caused this and are driving costs up in both series. I'm a long term fan, and in the past, tried to watch all 3 races every week. This last season, I did not watch trucks if KB and the cup guys ran it, and I did not watch NW races unless it was one where there were only 1-2 cup guys. All my buddies are the same. If they don't start NOW to fix it, they might as well just delete it. Why have it? What's the purpose? I never went to a Busch race to see Cup guys. I went to see Busch guys!!

Josh, the NW series is already destroyed and trucks are coming right along the same path, should arrive at this point in 4-6 years.

Come the new season, if the NW field is full of cup guys, I won't watch or Tivo it. Trucks, same deal. You SHOULD be able to compete in trucks or NW on a far lower budget, not have to match whiny KB who cries that he can't get $2-3mm sponsor for his truck team, trashing the other guys for doing it on $500k or less. Really Kyle? Are you that stupid? Yes he is.
