Hey Jim - Actually, in Irwindale, there is a GREAT 1/2 mile track (with a smaller 1/3 mile track in the infield) that hosts K & N Series races, along with local racing on Saturday nights. Irwindale Speedway hosts the annual All-Star Showdown early in the year, with great racing. I'm not sure if Irwindale could host a Nationwide series race, but it might be able to host a Truck Series race, which would be great. I went to the Truck / Nationwide race at Fontana a couple years back (both races on the Saturday before the Cup race - good idea, although the typical Fontana racing wasn't too compelling). The trucks should stick mostly to smaller tracks under a mile, in my opinion!
