@Slugwriter- salient point. That has never made sense to me. Of course, if it were up to me, the Top 35 would be gone. Let's face it, they made that rule for Richard Petty and Darrell Waltrip. As much as I like Bobby Labonte and Jeff Burton, they're irrelevant right now, and even THEY can get in. Of course, tht tell us how many start and parks are in this mix too.
