I swear, if JoeR gives up this sport forever, I'll be okay with it.
Things change over time. While Jimmie Johnson isn't any of the numerous drivers listed, he is, in fact, a five-time Cup champion. Claiming anything to the contrary is nothing more than sour grapes that it's not like the old days anymore. Nope, it's not. The cars are different, the tracks are different, the points system is different, and the championship is different. And Jimmie Johnson is a five-time Cup champion. No amount of crying is going to change that.
I do give props to those old-timers out there who have embraced change enough to conquer the personal computer and the internet. Don't forget that change also comes in Nascar.
