You want to know why Nascar is loosing fans? It is because they have lost there southern roots, Let me explain before you judge. In the south, you don't have NFL football. Yes there is some in Florida and we have our redskins, but until the '90s we didn't have the panthers. we lived our lives on the sport that was born here. Nascar. Now, you have drivers from all over and a few that are from the original roots. The ones from these roots aren't getting the limelite except jr. I will give the drivers the credit, they can race and we will support them but Nascar has moved the tracks all over the country and eliminated key tracks that got it where it is today. Nascar was born from the Blue Collar employees, Nascar wants the execs because that is where the money is, Marketing and Media. A true driver just wants to race and the fans want to see it but we are tired of hearing all the sponsor stuff and the same comments after the race. We want these guys be themselves, if you are mad at another driver, tell it like it is. Nascar fines the drivers.. Good wrecks and fist fights brought the sport to where it was before the media took over. It just isn't your Saturday night racing anymore. Nascar needs to look at where they came from, walk around the camp sites and take a good look, they are the ones spending the money. This isn't the superbowl, this is racing.
