Let's see,
Bread - it's boring. I still eat it.
Oatmeal cookies - ditto. I love oatmeal cookies.
Bananas - booooooorrrrring. Great post-workout snack.
Jeep - old and boring. I drive one.
CNN - dull, dull, and, ummm, boring. I watch it.
There are boring things in life. Jimmie Johnson is one of them. Yet, on the track, he's a heck of a driver and brings a ton to any race he's in. Anyone who watches NASCAR knows these two facts.
Is he a crazed driver like Mr, Three-Wide-By-Himself, Kyle Busch? No. Johnson doesn't have to because he's not only talented, he's smart.
When I want excitement in the post-race interview, I'll take Stewart, Busch, Harvick, et. al. But, because he's bland doesn't take away a thing from what Johnson does on the track.
