Suspending Gordon for Homestead means money taken out of Nascar's pockets because his fans would stay home instead of go to the race, so no way in Haiti that they park Gordon this weekend.
Plus with Bowyer not on probation, the "will he or won't he" aspect of getting back at Jeff at homestead will provide plenty of drama to pull people in to the final race of the year, especially when their precious Chase pretty much blew up in their face this weekend.
