Finally, someone recognizes the canned speeches teams hand out everytime a news pundit is available for comment. Explaining specifically, why a team is excited this year over another seems to be based on some esoteric formula.Why one team can expect improvement this coming year as opposed to, say a prevous year, seems to be based on the same criteria. About the only meaningful information gleaned from these tours are the announcements of the new sponsors, so dedicated race fans can begin supporting them. It is probably the only time the sponsors will get good "ink" since most of these competitors finish poorly in many of the races throughout the season.
