Some one explain to me how you cause a wreck and get rewarded?
Harvick dumped Logano, pure and simple. If he doesn't the worst Logano finishes is 6th, he ends 13th. Sam Hornish would have been 4th, he ends up 11th. All of those drivers who got piled up in the wreck would have not have been in the situation if Harvick doesn't dump Logano.
Harvick's punishment? 4th place. Not even a call to the hauler for being an idiot.
So long as NASCAR allows drivers to control the points race like this, they will be a fake sport.
What should have happened? Harvick should have been automatically moved to the rear the racers on the lead lap with no possibility to improve his position.
Instead you reward Harvick with a Green White Checkers finish and punish those who were innocent bystanders.
Stupid.
