DALE EARNHARDT JR. PETITION

Junior Nation is in revolt. A group of fans have taken to the Internet with a petition that calls for owner Rick Hendrick to make changes to the 88 team. The petition says:
We have suspected for quite some time now that there is a problem somewhere within the 88 team, either in the shop or at the track. The statements released today from Tony Gibson have proven that our gut feelings were accurate. The fans would like this to be taken care of immediately! We the fans thought our equipment would be first class at Hendrick Motorsports. Please act now.
Thank you,
Junior nation
The petition is referring to an ESPN article that quotes Ryan Newman's crew chief Tony Gibson, who said that Earnhardt does not have the full support of everyone on his team. The petition went up on Wednesday. Its goal is 8,888 signatures.

In fact Jake if there is ANY driver that you could Accurately put a measuring stick to Dale Jr on it would be Matt Kenseth any true race fan would know this. Matt does have the championship that gives him the leg up and Matt has been more consistent but unless Matt or Jr win this year the Total Win count is equal at 18. Both drivers have a All-Star win and a Daytona win, Matt has a Rookie of the year, Jr has Shootout victories and 2 Nationwide titles. So that seems pretty close to equal to me with Matt edging Jr by a very small amount.
Wow now that is funny considering Joe has 7 seasons on Jr. Win count Jr 18 Joe 4. Best points finish Jr 3rd Joe 15th. That is a apples and oranges comparison. Like I have said before Jr is horrible this season (5 bad seasons so far and counting). So if he quit today he would still have more Sprint Cup wins than over half the field on any Sunday with 5 bad seasons in hand. Guess they give out free victories in NASCAR for popularity.

Why do people keep saying Dale Jr doesn't take racing seriously? If he didn't, then he wouldn't be out doing it. He has other business ventures he's in involved him. It's hard to get top 10s when your equipment keeps failing or you're caught up in wrecks started by other drivers.
