DANICA AND DALE JR. AT 'WAR'

Posted 02/24/10 at 9:46 AM PST by | Email This |

Danica Patrick and Dale Earnhardt Jr. are fighting. So says The National Enquirer. Time was when you could laugh off Enquirer stories. After all, the same publication said that Junior was in a death spiral last year and as of this morning, far as I know, he is alive. But these are also the same people who nailed presidential candidate John Edwards for having an affair. So ... decide for yourself if Danica Patrick is the type of person who would talk trash about her boss behind his back. Maybe she is. Maybe she isn't. Or maybe someone is just trying to sell newspapers.

I bet every word is true! Did you guys hear Junior talking about putting vodka in his Amp as soon as he got home? Do you think Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin are going drinking after the race? Dale Jr wants to think it is 1984... but today's drivers are going to the gym. When every Hendrick guy is hitting the gym, every crew member is working out every day, and then you got JUYNER drinking all the time, never lifting a weight, making jokes in TV interviews (with Marty Smith) about how he blows off the company conference calls. He is not a winner. He is a loser.

Danica has a winner's mentality. It probably took her 10 minutes to size up this good ol' boy who would rather party with his buddies than be a real owner. With all the Danica coverage, did you see Dale Jr anywhere? He is an owner in name only.

To follow up, I recall Rusty Wallace finishing 3rd at Charlotte, climbing from the car and popping the top on a cold Miller Lite while giving an interview. I will give you the two best goody two shoes drivers Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson and see you my two good ol' boy's from back in the day and my home state Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty. Wanna Compare? lol

Spoken like a true since 1999 fan. Look if you knew something of the sport you would be scary. The good ol' boy's as you call it built this sport and Brian France tried to change it and have not only failed but the last two years we are now seeing a return to roots of this sport. NASCAR ripping tracks from the south and a few years later the new is gone like a fad. They turned there backs on sponcers like tobacco products and now welcome them back in. They scold drivers for showing emotions and now encourage it. BTW the Marty Smith interview you totally took out of context and if 18 wins makes you a loser, well I wont touch that one. Jealousy and envy usually lead to a downfall.
