DMV DENIES LICENSE TO J.C. FRANCE

Posted 12/02/09 at 10:50 AM PST by | Email This |

J.C. France, the grandson of NASCAR founder Bill France, was denied by the state of Florida from getting his driver's license back, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reports. France was arrested for drunken driving and possession of crack cocaine two months ago. The suspended Grand-Am driver tried to reclaim the license from the DMV on a technicality, claiming that the refusal affidavit, the form the officer used when France refused to take a breath test, which triggered the suspension of his license, was outdated. France also claimed that he was pulled over outside of the arresting officer's jurisdiction. Oh jurisdiction, how would France family lawyers line their pockets without you?

I know Jamie,personally,and very well.
Due to recent, constant, negative
statments made by the public,
I have chosen to post an opinion, as a
citizen, as well. The majority of the negative
comments being posted, are from citizens
whom have never met Jamie. I am not making
one sided comments because of my connection
with Jamie. I believe it is only fair to have
some of people who intimately know
the true personality of Jamie express their
comments as well. Everyone is entitled
to their opinions, so I've decided to make mine:
"I love and admire his sencerity, generosity, and true care
of others."
Jamie deserves to be defined by the man he
has always been, rather than defined by the unfortunate events of the evening in in October.
