Owner-turned-ESPN-commentator Ray Evernham married driver Erin Crocker in Las Vegas on August 26th, Evernham's birthday. Crocker, as you and Jeremy Mayfield well remember, was a development driver for Evernham until the two began a romantic relationship.

 

Evernham said the relationship hurt her development as a driver because of all of the negative publicity it generated. Crocker and Evernham parted ways professionally in 2007. Her racing career never recovered. She currently drives in the World of Outlaws series.

You can follow Erin Crocker on Twitter, where she broke the news of her nuptials last week. On July 17, weeks before the wedding, she Tweeted that she "feels happier than I have in a long time :)" We wish her the best.
