Give and Take Between Driver and Crew

Heading into the restart after the eighth caution, Jeff Gordon and his crew spent a great deal of time debating where Gordon stood on the grid. NASCAR showed him 13th, he and his people were convinced he was 12th.

That’s not uncommon, necessarily, but hearing how matter of fact Gordon is in dissecting who he passed and where he was when he passed that person at 185 miles per hour is interesting to say the least. You’d think the guy was driving the kids to school.
