Following Friday’s practice session, Goodyear is confident that ugly, ugly history will not repeat itself at The Brickyard on Sunday. "It makes you feel pretty good," Goodyear race tire sales director Greg Stucker said. "I’ve still got a few butterflies. We thought we had asked all the questions, gotten all the answers and were pretty thorough. We felt we were pretty good, but you’re always a little anxious when you get here."
Jeff Burton and Joey Logano had no complaints about the tires, which is good, because a repeat of last year’s race would be NASCAR Armageddon.
