HERMAPHRODITE DRIVER WANTS TO RETURN TO RACING AS A WOMAN
J.T. Hayes was born a hermaphrodite, raised a male and underwent a "sexual adjustment" to become female. Yeah, Hayes and half of San Francisco - what of it? J.T. Hayes, for those of you with long memories, was an up-and-coming driver in the early 1990s who used to beat the likes of Jeff Gordon in stock car racing's minor league circuits. Hayes is now Terri O'Connell and she has written an explosive book that claims that, after her sex realignment, she ran in NASCAR social circles completely unrecognized as her former self.
Her new life included business deals with politicians, dinner and drinks with top speedway executives, sexual abuse at the hands of a top speedway exec and being checked out constantly by crew members. One former Daytona 500 winner, who goes unnamed, gave her his private phone number. The topper: O'Connell wants to race again and might just do so. We shall now witness the true depths of NASCAR's commitment to diversity.

anyone besides me not really care about if he/she was a man turned into a woman? I mean let's face it if you can drive and have talent then more power to you and if you can endure and get a ride that's great. Most rides are now available if you can get a sponsor anyway. If all you want is publicity for what you once were and are now just to pump yourself up... Go away and quit wasting everyones time. That is just my opinion. I believe that she may be a wonderful person but in real life no I really do not care what or who you were or are only if you can drive and handle the top tier racing.
