HOW RICH IS JEFF GORDON?

We all know Jeff Gordon is wealthy. But how wealthy? Is he "personal live-in chef" wealthy or "gold-plated jet pack" wealthy? The Forbes.com Video Network has released a two-video package, posted below, which shares details of Jeff Gordon's income and investments. According to Forbes, Gordon, who is ranked 63rd on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list, makes $30 million a year. That's gold-plated jet pack wealthy.
Said Forbes editor Matt Miller, "Jeff Gordon is the epitome of what a NASCAR driver should be. He makes money on the track. He makes money on licensing deals. He owns part of another race team. And he's got a slew of endorsement deals, everything from Pepsi to GM to Tylenol. Jeff Gordon is a major brand."
Miller said that Gordon, despite his personal ups and downs, has remained a steady earner. In the video package, Gordon called his divorce with ex-wife Brooke "nasty," which might be putting it mildly, but insinuated that the long public court battle brought him increased fame, as did a co-hosting stint on Live with Regis and Kelly.
Forbes reports that Gordon has begun designing race tracks, following in the footsteps of golfer Jack Nicklaus, who designs golf courses. Gordon is also a Walgreens landlord. Who knew?
