Maybe he needs more space for that fourth Sprint Cup he appears destined to win. The Wall Street Journal reports that Jimmie Johnson is selling his condominium in New York City. The asking price: $4.34 million. The Journal reports: "In 2007, Mr. Johnson paid $3.98 million for the 3,200-square foot loft. In New York’s Chelsea neighborhood, the three-bedroom apartment has 3.5 baths and an open-plan living and dining room. The doorman building has a private gym." Jimmie and his wife Chandra’s primary residence is in Charlotte, N.C. In interviews, Johnson has said he likes visiting New York City because people do not recognize him there.
