KURT BUSCH WINS KOBALT TOOLS 500
Kurt Busch snapped Jimmie Johnson's two-race winning streak with a green-white-checkers win at the Kobalt Tools 500. The win was Busch's second straight spring victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Busch led two green-white-checkers restarts, the first coming with three laps to go that was a result of Carl Edwards (156 laps down) flipping sixth-place Brad Keselowski, who had gotten into Edwards earlier in the race. Matt Kenseth finished second. Juan Pablo Montoya was third. Kasey Kahne was fourth and - I can't believe I am about to write this - Paul Menard was fifth. From the front. Not the rear.

Kevin Harvick (ninth place) remains the points leader. Johnson (12th place) moved one spot up to fourth. Joining Menard for a WTF-place finish was A.J. Allmendinger, who finished sixth.
