KYLE BUSCH WINS SHARPIE 500

Kyle Busch kept his Chase hopes alive with a victory over runner-up Mark Martin at the Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday. Busch sits just 34 points behind 12th-place Matt Kenseth for the final spot in the Chase. The win was Busch's fourth of the season. Martin had several chances to put the bumper to Busch in the closing laps for the win, but the classy veteran raced Busch clean, as you can see in the video below. Marcos Ambrose finished an impressive third.

Awesome race. With so many rooting against Kyle and all the adversity he deals with (including getting taken out in the Nationwide race the night before), the guy's got nerves of steel. Since he gave Mark plenty of room, I hope that, if Mark had taken Kyle out, that fair fans would have felt just a small amount of empathy for his efforts. Although, I wouldn't expect it.

God I love all of you KB haters...what's wrong? Junior sucking too much hind teet for you? KB races, and wins, in everything, and rubs folks the wrong way, just like a certain very average racer's father used to...who could I be talking about?
