LOGANO WINS LENOX INDUSTRIAL TOOLS 301
Joey Logano became the youngest Sprint Cup winner ever on Sunday when the 19-year-old claimed his first victory at a rain-shortened Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Logano earned the victory thanks to crew chief Greg Zipadelli's decisions not to pit during green-flag stops and to conserve fuel. During the post-race interview on TNT, Logano had to look at his uniform in order to remember which sponsors to thank. Rookie.
Logano was followed by Jeff Gordon and Kurt Busch, both of whom were up front for most of the race, and David Reutimann and Tony Stewart. With the exception of some minor shuffling, the top 12 in the Chase field remained relatively unchanged. Stewart leads and Gordon is in second.
