NASCAR ON TWITTER
USA Today has a piece today on NASCAR and Twitter. The point of the article is that the vast majority of teams, sponsors and drivers have yet to embrace the social networking tool. Twitter, for those of you who are unfamiliar, is an application that allows its users to tell other people what they are doing or thinking at the moment. "Tweets" can be sent from computers or cell phones.
The article says that Bobby Labonte is the only full-time Cup driver who tweets on his own behalf. What the article fails to mention is that Max Papis, Sam Hornish Jr. and Juan Pablo Montoya also tweet. DeLana Harvick, wife of driver Kevin, currently has more than 1,400 followers.
Below you will find direct links to notable NASCAR-related Twitter feeds.

Yes, you are missing a great Twitter user, Kyle Petty @kylepetty
I have been following his charity bike ride (200 motorcyclists) crossing the country. He updates multiple time daily with 3 megapixle images (twitpic).
I must say @kylepetty has been the most rewarding of the Nascar twits I follow.
