Red Bull Racing has released a video in which the No. 83 Toyota makes a pit stop in Times Square. The video's debut comes on the same day word leaked that driver Brian Vickers signed a multi-year contract with Red Bull Racing. This is a cool concept executed with impressive production value.

I really love F1. But the very few times I have watched NASCAR here in Spain (in Europe) I liked it a lot as well.
Each one of them has good and bad things. But anyone who says "F1 is a piece of shit" or "NASCAR is a piece of crap" is not a true motorsports fan.
Regarding the nuts, probably that is restricted by the NASCAR rules. The teams are not stupid: they know that it is faster to change a wheel using only one nut, so there MUST be a reason why they use 5, and a gravity tank instead o a pressurized hose.

Jeez people, They are two different sports. As a BIG fan of both, I can say that while f1 is superior technologically, and more glamorous(sp?) NASCAR has waaayyy better racing. In f1 the races can get a little boring, even though it is fun to watch the cars go around monte carlo. NASCAR is just more even competitively, and there's none of this "Jenson Button will probably win the next race" business so why not just enjoy both for what they are?

Since when are F1 drivers trying to go to nascar??? you got a source for that or is that something you came up with? F1 is faster, pays better, and requires a lot more skills. Nascar is pretty much an american sport while F1 has a lot more popularity throughout the world.

yea the reason the F1 and Indy car pit stops take 7 seconds is maybe because the whole car comes off the ground when a hose is connected. Make them jack the car up and take off more than one lug and se what happens.

Euro trash? All the best cars, fastest, coolest and even the slowest at times :P are produced by the "euro trash". As if that wasn't enough, you have the dodge viper. Which, lets face it, is only good for going forward. If you ask it to turn a corner then it would spin. (at speed) As for which sport is better, well each sport takes skill. The "euro trash" sports try to keep the cars in one piece while doing as fast as possible through corners. The "American" sports, hope the car will survive and they try to go fast in a straight line or a very long corner. F1 drivers want to do nascar simply because its slow and people do not complain if you hit someone. I would love to see how a NASCAR driver would do in a rally, in Italy... I would bet my pay check that it would be a laugh to watch. If we put a rally driver in NASCAR i think you will find that he would get bored after the first 2 laps. I will not say that he will win because as far as i can tell, its pure chance that you make it to the finish line.

F1 has one lug nut per tire, these guys were doing 5. That adds a lot of time.
