RALLY CAR HITS HORSE
Race cars and wild animals - as this coyote discovered - do not mix. At a rally car race in Argentina on Monday, driver Federico Villagra struck a wild horse with his Mitsubishi Evo, sending the animal 30 feet up into the air. The horse was seriously injured and was later put down. The Los Andes newspaper - and this is how you know Argentina is serious about its racing - reports that the accident only cost Villagra 30 seconds.
Video posted after the jump. Warning: It is shocking.
A lesser blogger would tag the end of this post with an obvious line like: Talk about horsepower.
Not me. I'm better than that.
Instead I will leave you with: Poor, poor Flicka.
