Welcome to the Chase for the Maternity Ward. Days after it was announced that driver Elliott Sadler's wife Amanda is due in March comes news that ESPN pit road reporter Shannon Spake is due with twin boys in January. The news broke via Jeff Gluck's Twitter account (if you are not following Gluck, you should be - his posts are great) and was confirmed an hour ago by Spake, via Twitter, who wrote:
"Thanks everyone for the well wishes. My little future NASCAR fans will sure have some stories to tell their friends."
Spake is married to land developer Jerry McSorley.
