ok people the reason why NASCAR is in GT5 is because they race...that is what GT5 is all about. You want to be a rounded driver you drive anything and everything...they have go-karts in the game...form of racing. I hope they add motorcycles and drifting and they would have a package for everyone. And NASCAR isnt just driving in a cicle. there is alot more endurance to it then you think, if you think its so easy then you do it trust me alot harder then you think. and if you think the guys are dumb that are in the cars think again.

I'm sorry, at least in nascar drivers have to actually drive the car. GT sucks, because those cars basically drive them selves. You have no clue what real racing is my friend. Let me inform you of something numbnuts, nascar vehicles have no ABS, no tractions control, like your pussy formula one cars do. infact formula one drivers do not even have drive the fucking cars, each car has ABS, traction control, and they are so low to the ground they need not even try to make them turn

Why in the hell is there NASCAR in GT5 anyway? it's related to everything, completion ratio, trophies, everything, so if I want to 100% i'm forced to play this damn insult to racing, am I seriously asking for too much? keep NASCAR where it belongs, redneckville USA, right between inbred avenue and hicks street, keep this shit away from me and mine.

not that it's a shocker at this point, GT5 has been such a clusterfuck of deception from PD that it's not even close to the game they promised, or advertised, this shit should fall under false advertisement, they promise high detail cars, but half the cars are PS2 cars, they promise cockpit views, half the cars have none, they promise Ultra realistic graphics but give 2003 level crap, every racing game under the sun looks better, they promise racing, they give NASCAR, jesus fucking christ, why even call it GT at this point.

they are bringing nascar 2011 out in feb. bout 2 weeks before daytona.its from activision so it should be an awesome game..they are suppose to have everything redone from ground up.suppose to be like how nascar really is in the game kyle busch will be aggressive like he drives now and people who actually get into it on the track on a regular basis will be the same in the game..everything is set to drop in feb. i cant wait...

i heard that the reason for the pushed back release date of the game is because they are taking more time so that they can have every driver and every track, also when you buy GT5 you will recieve two discs the second disc will be pure NASCAR!!!

Downloadable Content boy's, i bet that all the tracks they race on, and the Nationwide cars will be available for GT5, being a long time fan of Polyphony Digital relaxe ok, Nascar is in good hands. For all you whinners and cheaters EA nascar 09 isn't perfect but on online it's better than having nothing.

Who cares about the custom car paint scemes jus stop whinning. What you should think about is just having the cars look like the cars used today. And hope we can keep the races straight so we can have good races without all the whinning and crying and cheating..

Hey a nascar game is better than no nascar game. Sure it would be awesome if GT5 had all the tracks and all the drivers but we've had to go a year without a nascar game. Just being able to drive nascar again will be enough for me.

I say somebody needs to sign a license with nascar to make another all nascar game. You know so we don't have to unlock different things like in other games. EA sports really screwed up by getting out of nascar.

i have a Xbox 360 and i enjoy NASCAR 09, if you put in the harder difficult, with no adaptive strenght, and no help from cpu it's a very good race, with realistic pit stops, qualifying, yellow flags, crashes and all the stuff real races have, i don't know why people hates that game.

Polyphony Digital is going to bring to nascar games what EA and every other nascar game developer has failed to bring to nascar games, actual simulation quality physics. maybe in this game changing spoiler angle, splitter height, and everything else you can change on the car will have significant effects on the car and the way it handles. this has been lacking in every nascar game to date, it has usually had minor effect but largely been ignored since in real life these changes can be major in effect to change the cars. also for those who havent noticed for the past couple of years every nascar has been exactly the same except for the paint job but i did notice there were a few gordons and jrs which will most likely be fixed in the end product. as for the tracks they most likely will include at least allof the major tracks like daytona, california, lowe's, darlington, talladega, infineon, watkins glen, indy, martinsville, dover, richmond, atlanta and bristol since nascar isn't the only series who use those tracks. dont worry. since when has polyphony released a disappointing racing game?

This is very exciting! EA did great at first but after '05 the games were pretty piss-poor (they never captured me on the next gen. consoles). I was really looking forward to GT5... NASCAR! BONUS! I can't wait!!

I think there is going to be a problem with NASCAR. I saw like six DIFFERENT cars in the video and the rest were basically duplicates of the six but with different paint schemes. I counted total of like 16 or 17 cars in the video at 1:18. I dont know if that was the middle of the pack or not. but i don't think all the cars are going to be in it. I think it is only going to be duplicates of a few original cars but with different paint schemes. Also, I really dont know if there is going to be another track besides Daytona. I figure if there was they would have showed at least one different one. I hope i am wrong though. I also have a question. The Crovette ZR1 is on the cover of the PSP. Does that mean it will be in the PS3 games as well?

you guys are stupid. Just think about it. GT 5 will have seperate racing circuits just like they did in all other versions, licenses you have to obtain to get on certain tracks. It is easily expected that they are going to have a seperate nascar circiut that will include all of the races and the chase for the cup done right. This time the graphics will be better, damage better, and most importantly the driving will be extremly amazing. This is going to be the best racing game out their and because it is on blu-ray it will be huge and maybe even 2 to 3 discs. They have delayed the push to ensure it is right and make it big. what game do you know that they released a demo that would of actually sold as a full game. So you all need to actually think before you panic and bash a game. EA screwed up nascar games and that is why nascar sought the gt 5 developers.

i hope that gran turismo does not screw up nascar they better make it a seperate game if not i ain't buying it

If this game only has Daytona, I'm not going to be a happy camper. And also if it has just like a few cars, or no season, no "Case for the Cup", ect. I saw like 5 AMP Energy car, 2 Dupont chevys, and 2 Lowe's. What SONY needs to do is make a separate game with just NASCAR. NASCAR is not and Italian, Japan, or any out of country racing sports, its an American made sport that deserves its own game with everything in it. If SONY games wants to make its money, it needs to make a seperate game for NASCAR.

Im pretty stoked for Nascar in GT5, from what i've seen GT5 has been amazing and i hate how people are starting to doubt it just because its taking so long to release, im hoping they have a car customization tool for all cars in this, i hated playing the same series on the old games 500 times just to get the same car i keep winning in a color scheme i like, they need a paint shop or customization tools, and for all the Nascar fans i do believe there will be many more than just Daytona and Indy, i mean look at the past, GT4 had notorious tracks like Laguna Seca, Motegi, even the 24 hour Le Mans track, plus many more Formula 1 tracks, im sure they'd have no problem securing more Nascar tracks, I love the idea and I'd love to see them branch out even MORE, maybe to motorcycle and even speed boat racing maybe? Just an idea, dont crucify me for it xD, i love the Nascar addition, i love Gran Turismo, Forza is well off my wish list, GT5 all the way...

Is anyone worried about this? I mean look at the daytona scene...they are all those cars and then fantasy cars. Also, i am worried about how many REAL nascar tracks they will have. I know that they have the rights to daytona but thats it... I hope that this license isn't exclusive!

Man, can't wait for this. I've been saying to myself if Sony got the rights to NASCAR the game that would come from it would be amazing and it's looking to be just that. Hopefully this will also shut people up about NR2003 being the best NASCAR game ever. This will probably also top Forza 3, but Forza has the paint feature that I don't think GT5 has. Can't Wait.
