After a disappointing 25th place finish in last weekend’s Chase opener in New Hampshire, Jimmie Johnson showed up in Dover in championship form. A five-time winner at the Monster Mile, Johnson sat the No. 48 Chevrolet on the pole Friday afternoon and put it in Victory Lane for win number six at the end of the day. Jimmie Johnson's march to an unprecedented fourth straight Sprint Cup title continued on Sunday in Dover with his win over teammate Mark Martin in the second race of the Chase. With the exception of the horrific Joey Logano crash, the almost four-hour long AAA 400 lacked for serious drama as Johnson blew the field away. NASCAR MONITORING SECURITY THREAT

Delaware police say they are keeping an eye on this Sunday's AAA 400 in Dover following the arrests of three people suspected in a terror plot in Denver and New York City. The News Journal in Wilmington reports that state police met with NASCAR officials on Tuesday and had a conference call with the FBI.
