 Everyone is ranting and raving this week about how much NASCAR sucks. Turns out, in the two weeks before the train wreck at Talladega, NASCAR held town-hall meetings with drivers and teams to talk about ways to improve the sport. RYAN NEWMAN TALLADEGA CRASH

Ryan Newman was involved in an ugly crash with five laps to go at the AMP Energy 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday. After contact with teammate Tony Stewart, Newman's car went airborne, flipped and landed on the hood of Kevin Harvick's car. Newman's No. 39 Chevrolet spun several times before settling on its roof.
