Phoenix: Win, Lose or Draw

It rained in Phoenix. Really... That probably is the oddest happening at Phoenix International Raceway over the weekend. Kevin Harvick dominated and won for the third time in the last four races at the track. 2014 Phoenix Odds

  Phoenix is the strangest race of the 2014 Sprint Cup season. Teams spend months trying to get everything right for Daytona. The second the race ends, it's time to move to Phoenix and a totally different style or racing. Teams aren't the only ones making a transition as oddsmakers have to quick react as well.   Finally…. An actual race takes place Saturday night. Don't get me wrong, the Sprint Unlimited is a preseason event. The idea of wagering any kind of money on a preseason sporting event seems mindless. But odds are out, and they're worth seeing as fans think about the real race in Daytona a week away. NASCAR Media Metrics

Media moves the NASCAR meter. We all know that. Now there’s a new way to quantify one of the most important metrics in the sport. A public relations agency released how much media exposure drivers generated in 2013.  To the surprise of some, Jimmie Johnson led the charge.
