Heavy Metal In Thunder Valley- It’s Bristol Baby!

It's been likened to flying fighter jets in a gymnasium. Bristol Motor Speedway is a test of endurance, nerves, and a seemingly unending traffic jam. After two weeks out west, NASCAR returns to its heartland at a sight reminiscent of a Roman coliseum. More so at the late summer night race than in the spring, racing at Bristol has a way of bringing out the gladiator in a driver. That names like Darrell Waltrip, the Busch brothers, and Jeff Gordon- none of them ever adverse to contact- dot ...

2014 Las Vegas Race Odds

Las Vegas might be the most under appreciated city on the 2014 Sprint Cup schedule. It gets one race per year, and that race is the third of the 2014 Sprint Cup season. Because it's Vegas and during Spring Break, the race is usually well attended and animated. Vegas also hosts the Sprint Cup banquet which serves as an easy to consume one week PR blitz. Vegas probably deserves a second race, in part because the odds for Sunday's race look so appealing. (more...) ...

Have Cheaters Done Frustrated Fans A Favor?

Well, well, well- look what we have here, another scandal revolving around teams trying to gain track positions (equaling points) to make the Chase. JEFF GORDON: NASCAR’S GAME-CHANGING DRIVER

21 years ago, almost all of us had a phone on our wall or on an end table. Email was something guys with thick glasses and pocket protectors used. On demand TV? If Rip Van Winkle were awakening today from a 20-year snooze, he'd find the world has changed a lot since that November day in 1992 when Jeffrey Michael Gordon made his NASCAR Winston Cup debut. NASCAR has seen more than its share of chang ...
