2018 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class Very Deserving

In some years, controversy surrounds selections for sports hall of fames. That's not the case here. It's an impressive group that makes up the 2018 NASCAR Hall of Fame class. Robert "Red" Byron- The World War II combat veteran won NASCAR's first Strictly Stock race and went on to become NASCAR's first champion. A shrapnel wound badly damaged one of Byron's legs, and NASCAR innovator Red Vogt fitted the driver with a special apparatus to enable him to use his clutch. Sadly, poor health mad ...

The point is well taken. There’s hauler full of NASCAR drivers who have bigtime talent, but languish in relative anonymity because of the quality of thei ...

Our football team stunk to high heaven most of the time we were in Athens.  Ohio played in the New Orleans Bowl against Troy. It’s the second straight bowl game for the Bobcats. I should care. I don’t. Since I don’t care about my alma mater playing, I don’t care about the other 30 irrelevant games goin ...
