SHARPIE 500 CRASHES

The Saturday night race in Bristol, as usual, produced its fair share of bumping and banging. Clint Bowyer's Chase hopes came to an end when Joey Logano got into the back of Bowyer after Michael Waltrip crashed, sending the rear of Bowyer's car into Waltrip's. In the second crash, shown below, Kevin Harvick proved that no good deed goes unpunished. He saved Bowyer from being wrecked out of the Chase, only to wreck himself. Instead, I will offer a list of which songs each driver would be introduced to if Bristol handed the MC duties over to yours truly and the drivers were given no say in the matter. Let's do this. I've got DJ Jeff Hammond on the ones and twos... Tony ...

FIVE BRISTOL FEUDS

Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway - site of the upcoming Sharpie 500 - is one of those races where feelings and fenders are bound to get wrinkled. Even some of the best in the business lose their cool in the mountains of east Tennessee.5. Dale Jarrett and Bobby Hillin. In April 1993, during the Food City 500, Hillin was off the lead lap because of an earlier accident. As Jarrett described it, an “idiot who was laps down drove off into the corner and into the side of me.” Jarre ...
