DALE EARNHARDT JR. CONTEST

Posted 02/19/10 at 12:14 PM PST

Here is your chance to win some sweet Dale Earnhardt Jr. gear courtesy of AMP. Go to the All Left Turns Facebook page, become a fan (if you are not already), and leave a comment in the Wall message that links to this post predicting what place Earnhardt will finish on Feb. 21 at the Auto Club 500. Whoever comes the closest to guessing correctly will win first prize - the jacket pictured above. Second place gets a one-inch square of sheet metal from the 88 car. All ties will be decided via names in a hat, to be pulled by an impartial party - most likely the editor of Made Man, whose cubicle is next to mine.

Junior fans - Earnhardt will be participating in his first-ever live video chat with fans on Feb. 17 at 7 pm EST to kick off the launch of www.ampupthe88.com. It will be a good chance for you to tell him what place you need him to finish so you can win the jacket. Oh, and Earnhardt has a new DVD coming out called "6 Days to Race Day." The DVD provides an exclusive look into how Dale Jr. and the No. 88 team prepare for the race each week. The DVD will be available on specially marked four-packs of AMP Energy for a limited time. Here's a clip:
