Tony Stewart Rewards Morgan Shepherd's Faith
SpeedwayMedia.com has posted a story about Morgan Shepherd's Faith Motorsports Nationwide team. And while Shepherd's performance -- he's just 21st in points -- could cause one to question just how powerful Shepherd's faith really is, there's another component to the story that's even more interesting.
Apparently, Tony Stewart is paying Shepherd's weekly tire bill, which reportedly saves the team about $7,500 per race, or more than a quarter of a million dollars per year.
The rich irony of Stewart buying Goodyears for another driver notwithstanding, if this information is true -- I've sent an email for confirmation -- it sure will make it hard to say anything bad about Stewart for awhile ... hard, but not impossible.

Jim--Couldn't agree more. In fact, I'm kind of surprised more media outlets haven't jumped on it...

Wow. That really restores one's faith in human kind. Let's hope it's true.
