It was one hell of a week for Mark Martin. Hendrick Motorsports signed him to drive full-time in 2010. He won his second race of the season - the Southern 500 - on Saturday. And his first-place finish put him in 11th place in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
It wasn't a bad week for Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman and Jeff Gordon, either, who finished behind Martin in that order. Gordon held onto first place in the Cup standings while Stewart jumped Kurt Busch. The big loser? Clint Bowyer's 37th pushed him out of the Chase field.
