WRECK OF THE WEEK: LAKE SPEED CRIES
We're going old school for our Wreck of the Week, all the way back to the 1985 Daytona 500. To say Lake Speed was emotional about his second-place finish - yes, second-place finish - would be an understatement. Speed is downright blubbery. I can't help but think that a NASCAR driver crying on national television helped pave the way for Terrell Owens, Adam Morrison, Ronaldo and others to turn on the waterworks without remorse years later.
